Elder Carson Bennett - Roseville California Mission

  Howdy yall, this email is going to be a bit different, I have been super busy this week and I have barely made time to write in my journal, so yall are getting a week of miracles. So sit back, grab a BOOK OF MORMON, and read it when your done reading about this week's shenanigans. So first I want to tell you about this transfer so far. So I think I said this last week, but I'm whitewashing. Which means both me and my companion are new to the area. And typically when you whitewash an area, it's already set up and ready to go. But this time it's different, you see we are in a “Brand new area”. Meaning that this area used to be double covered with another area, but it's no longer that. It's just single covered now, and so that's always fun. But what makes this transfer so much fun, is currently we don't have a SIM card. So we have no way to contact anyone, no phone number attached to us, and no WIFI. Your probably asking yourself, “Well how does that affe...

  Howdy, this week was transfers and I got the short end of the stick. Take a read and enjoy. Monday 6/3- P-Day. We honestly just hung out, we didn't do much craziness. I also got my first aggressive driving, I flipped a U-turn and it dinged me. We finished our p-day hours and then had 2 lessons with some members in our wards. We shared the ward mission plan and it was so awesome. We then came home, wrapped up a few loose ends and called it a night.  Tuesday 6/4- Idk what we did, but we didn't die. Wednesday 6/5- We got transfer boards, I am heading to Roseville and I'm whitewash training. So we had just a normal day and nothing crazy happened. I also said bye to some people and packed. Thursday 6/7- We started off by dropping Elder Bryant off at the mission office, and then we had a trio. We did some studies, and then we went to Brian Carroll's house and I popped a massive dent out of his car for him. We then went and got ice cream with Sister Collins and Dale. We then...

  Hey y'all, This week was an awesome week. I didn't update this every night , so I'm just gonna give you the highs and lows of the week and some crazy stories. Grab your Pepsi and your maggot sandwiches and enjoy this week's report. So to explain the title of this email, we went on an exchange with the APs (Assistant to the president). We had an amazing day with making tons of contacts. Well lunch time came around and we went to our apartment and had lunch. I had left over Mac and cheese, and he made a sandwich. We then started eating, and I looked over at Elder Trimming. And he has this weird look on his face, I said “what's wrong Elder?” He said “there are maggots on my sandwich”. Long story short he had a sandwich with maggots, the maggots came from the bread. So that was a good laugh and definitely a fun memory  Now, for the second half of the title.
