Elder Carson Bennett - Roseville California Mission

What is up guys, this week has been a super good week. I have had doors slammed in my face, I have had people yell at me, I even have had people lie straight to my face. But thats part of the work. I hope you enoy my email. I know its long but it's worth a read.  -Sunday 12/17-Today was an amazing day. We started out with choir in the Loomis 1st ward, then went to there sacrament meeting. After there sacrament meeting, we went to there sunday school and we just watched videos about christmas. After that we went to our MCM, (Missonary Corelation Meeting) We met with the members and leaders and bascially talked about the missionary work going on. We then had the Loomis 3rd ward sacrament meeting, In the meeting the bisop asked me to come up and introduce myself. If you know who I am, you know that I had people laughing. Afterwards we went to their Sunday school and ate cookies and talked about the birth of christ. We then had another choir practice and I sang my little heart out. On ...

 I am officially a resident of California but more on that later. This past week was my last week in the provo mtc. I am now in the beautiful town of Loomis California. But I will talk more about it later in the email. Let's start with Monday 12/11, it was p-day in the MTC, we went to the temple and did an endowment session.  We then did our laundry and wrote my past weeks email. And we ate food that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Tuesday 12/12, we mainly just ate food and went to class. We had choir and preformed at the devotional where president Johnson, the general relief society president came and she talked about how we can be better missionaries. She focused alot on the blessing we receive from serving missions. After the devotional we "heart attacked" our classroom. So we basically put sticky notes all around our class that had uplifting phrases on it for our teacher's, since they did so much for us.  Wednesday 12/13, We had more class and talked alot caus...

Whats up guys,      It was a super good 3rd week of my mission. This past week has been a super good week. The food is still somewhat good depending on what you get, and the beds still aren't the best but they are working. Elder Picanco is still killing it and he's awesome. My district is still super cool. we are all super close and it's gonna be hard to leave them on Friday when we leave. I love them all with my whole heart. I wish we were all going to the same mission, but unfortunately all good things have to end.         Monday 12/04/23- P-day! I kinda went over it in the last email but to give you a run down we did an endowment session, yes the provo temple is open on monday's but only for like 5 hours. We got kicked out but ONLY because the temple was closing. Then it was on to doing our smelly laundry and trying to be big boys, because our moms aren't here to do it for us. What is up, Welcome to email number 2 of very many. This week was a super good week. I started out with going to my mom's bell rehearsal on Monday since it is my P Day and then I packed all day and then on Tuesday I just did some more packing and hung out with my dad and worked on snowblowers. And then Wednesday was the big day that I went to the MTC. The MTCis so much fun. All my roommates are super Awesome We had class all day and then on wednesday night me and my companion locked our keys in our room. So we had to wait for the other companions to come let us in ! Haha. On Thursday. We had more classes and had a devotional. And then we found the extra blanket closet. And borrowed lots of blankets. Also the MTC needs a better way to lock blankets, cause they use a lock and chain and its super loose so we just reach our arms in and grabbed a few. We did it cause we were super cold, and our health is super important. We also talked about how to be a good listener. And it's okay ...
