When it rains, it pours ๐ŸŒง☔️

Hey guys, this week was a week to say the least. To explain the title, it rained this week, and things just would go good and then go had. Anyway enjoy this Week's review of Elder Bennetts Shenanigans.

4/1- April fools day. We woke up and went over to the other Elders apartment and we brought toilet paper with us along with a whole bunch of other random stuff. We opened their car and TP'D it and put random stuff in it. We then left and went to Roseville to go to a Dr appointment. Don't worry I'm not dead neither going to be anytime soon. (Knock on wood) We went over to the other elders house and picked them up and went to the store. Nothing crazy happened there. We then came back home and then went to the mission office and had our P-day there. I called the family and then we did a zone wide Easter Egg hunt. It was so much fun, we played some more and then came home. We ended P-Day and we worked on our bikes. My bike ended up with a flat tire and bad brakes. We then hit the hay.

4/2- We started out our day with studies. We then went tracting and tried to talk to people. But nobody wanted to talk to us. ๐Ÿฅบ we came home and had lunch then went to the mission office. We needed to pick some things up and we worked on our bikes. It was honestly a blast to work on the bikes. We then went to our dinner appointment. On the way there, we stopped at Walmart and got a bike tube because my tire is still leaking air. We got to dinner and I realized that my tail light on my bike fell off. But we had dinner and enjoyed each other's company. We had dinner with Brian. We then came home and went to bed.

4/3- We started out the day with getting an food delivery from Brian. That dude is so awesome, he just brings us whatever food he wants too. We then went to our District Council, and it was a blast. It was also interviews with the mission President. So he took the whe zone to lunch, we went to this Mexican place and it was super good. We came back and did our Zone role plays and I played again for opening exercises. I then jammed on the organ for a while till it was my turn for interviews. Interviews went great like always, I'm not being sent home so that's always a good thing to hear. We also got a crap ton on nice BOMBA socks. We all got a pair for Christmas from the mission, but they had a crap ton more so we all got like 6 more pairs. Which is awesome because they are the best socks I've ever worn. We then started an exchange with the District Leaders. I went with Elder Hilton who is the District leader. We got to their apartment, and then we went to the church to hang out with the youth. We helped them clean out some storage closets, then we played GAGA Ball. I never played GAGA BALL before, and it was a blast. We came home and chilled and went to bed

4/4- Honestly, we didn't do anything crazy today. We watched construction happen, since their apartment is being redone. But it was lit, because Elder Hilton and I both love heavy equipment. We did do some missionary work. We did some tracting and BOM placing, it just rained all day and so we just took a nice mental Break from the mission. Oh yeah, we also unexchanged from our exchange.

⅘- Temple Day!!!!! We woke up and had breakfast and the normal morning things. Elder Hilton and Pattee came back over and picked us up. We then left the mission and went to the Sacramento temple, on the way there we were hungry and so we decided to grab some food. Well we ended up at Texas Roadhouse, yep we ate good. It was so much fun just hanging out, and eating some good steak. Real fast, funny story, while at Texas Roadhouse, Elder Pattee had to go to the bathroom. So he did and so did I, well in the bathroom, country music is playing. So Pattee and I are singing our little missionary hearts out and an employee walks in. You should have seen his face when he saw 2 good looking missionaries singing country music. He was like Whattt? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ฎ Anyway, we get to the temple and started with Baptisms for the dead. I found a name for someone who needed all the work done so I took them through the whole process. Anyway temple trip was awesome, super spiritual, 10/10, Sacramento Temple is a pretty temple. We stopped at Chick-Fil-A on the way back and had lunch. We then came home, I fixed my bike since the back tire was flat again. So I just put a new tube in it. Anyway I then went to bed because I was exhausted.

4/6- Today we had General Conference. I love General Conference so much. We started out by going to our Ward mission leaders house, the foxbody dude. We watched the morning session of Conference with him, I played Legos with his son while we watched it. Honestly, it was so much fun, I love hanging out with his family. We then biked over to the church to meet up with a lady, let's just say things went south real fast. She started complaining of some things then the spirit left, then basically it wasn't looking pretty so we left. We went to Brian Carroll's house to watch another session of the conference. Which was lit, he fed us enchiladas and they were da bomb. I doodled a lot and I will put a picture in the pic section. We then went over to Brother Berejkoffs house. We watched the evening session with him. After the conference ended, he took us in his foxbody to Brian's where our bikes were. But we knocked on the door and Brian wanted to go for a ride in the FOXBODY. So we did, and Brian was like so scared. We stopped at another member's house and just said hi with Brian and Nick (Brother Berejkoffs First name). Nick then dropped us off at our dinner. We had dinner with the Bishops Family, they have 9 kids. Their oldest just got home from his mission in Mexico, like 3 days ago. Food was lit, then she made homemade brownies in a pan that was no kidding 20 inches in diameter. Lit, we then got a ride to Brian's to pick up our bikes. Since we didn't earlier, but let's just say we got there and decided to get a ride to our apartment, and we will get our bikes tomorrow. So we did that, we came home and went to bed.

4/7-Pt.2 of Conference Shenanigans. We started out early with Brian giving us a ride back to his house to get our bikes. We jumped on our bikes and rode them back to our apartment. When we got back home, Brian came and picked us up again and gave us a ride to the other side of our area so we could watch a conference with the other Ward Mission leader. We watched conference with his family, they even fed us breakfast. We hung out with him for a while after the session. He told us his company is doing the roof for the Modesto California temple. So that was Lit to find out. We then walked down the street to another member's house and watched a conference session with them. It was so much fun, after the conference session, we played some acting theater games and hung out and just talked. Honestly so much fun, they then gave us a ride to our dinner appointment. Dinner was pretty good, and then we came home, had a mission wide zoom call. We basically talk about miracles we see in our missionary work. We then went to bed.

If your reading and you ain't sure what this general conference thing is. It's basically a 2 day conference where we have living prophets and Apostles on the earth who get revelation from God and give it to us. It happens every 6 months and it's so much fun. I hope yall enjoyed the pics, love you ๐Ÿ˜
