Idk what to name this one π
Hello everybody, welcome back to another week of Elder Bennett shenanigans. Now, I will admit I did not do very well at writing my email this week. So we are going to keep this one short and sweet because that's better than long and boring.
This week was pretty awesome. It started out with just a normal PD on Monday with nothing too exciting happening. And then early Tuesday morning, we drove up to Redding to go do social media filming for an awesome music video we have coming out here soon. It was super fun to see all the missionaries in reading and a lot of them I'm besties with. After our whole filming shenanigans, we drove up to Mount Shasta. We did a video for Elder Kahaialii. The sunset was super pretty, we continue to drive up the mountain to look at more awesome places. As we were filming other k, it was super cold. It was like 45Β° and none of us came prepared for the cold, so all we had were our blankets in the van. So I grabbed my minky blanket and cuddled in it to stay warm. We then left Mount Shasta and went to weed to go have dinner at 8 at night. Now you're probably asking why the heck did we go to weed for dinner. Well, you see those McDonald's, and they serve actual burgers with mayo lettuce and tomato on it. It was super good, and while we were there, we met a super cool trucker dude who found a wallet outside. He had to leave, so he asked us to do something with the wallet, so we ended up calling the police and we went to the weed police department and dropped it off. So, hopefully, some poor trucker gets his wallet back. And this wallet was as big as a brick. JK, it wasn't that big, but it was pretty thick. We then went to Chico and slept over with some awesome missionaries.
We then woke up and went into Chico to video film the chico zone for the awesome God project. It was really fun. We then drove all the way back home to Roseville. When we got home, we went to President Davis's house, who is the elders quorum president in the 9th Ward. He is super musical and has lots of guitars. He has a guitar where the neck falls in half so you can transport it places, and he also has an eight string ukulele. It was super fun to hang out with him, we then went home and went to bed because we were tired.
Now, on Thursday, we had lots of meetings with people from the mission, and we went to Lincoln to go get an x-ray of my hand. The doctor said that everything was looking good. I just needed to stay in my splint/cast for another 4 weeks. Which is fine because I can't bike, so we get to keep the car that we have for a while. We then ended up going to a super lit member's house for dinner. It was really good. That was our day.
No Friday and Saturday consisted of lots of planning meetings and editing. So I won't bore you with all the details.
Yesterday we had church and it was really good, there was a missionary he was leaving on her Mission so it's super fun to hear other missionaries departing talks. It reminds me of one I left on my mission and when I get my departing talk. I often think to myself but I like that missionary when I get my departing talk? Anyway, we did our studies and how went to dinner. It was really good and the family was super awesome. We then came home and it's more editing and then called it a night.
So that's pretty much my week, don't mind all the misspelled words because I voiced to type this sucker because it takes a long time for me to type with only eight fingers. Hope you guys all have a good week, let me know if there's anything I can do for you. Until then peace out and enjoy the pictures:-)
