Social media and arguments at stoplights🚦

Howdy yall! Welcome to the weekly report of Elder Bennetts shenanigans. Hope you enjoy the report and if you have any questions, font be afraid to reach out and ask. Anyway Have fun reading this report.

Monday- Just a regular P-Day, when we woke up I started packing my bags for transfers, then we went shopping and went to the stake center. When we got there I remembered that I need to go the gutiar place and purchase a CAPO. It's basically a clamp thing for guitars, anyway so we did that then we came back and I called the family. I also messaged people and sent out the weekly email. We then went back to our apartment, when we got home we had dinner then I packed some more. After that we went to the church and did a Facebook Live. It was a blast, we then came home and I did my nightly calls then we went to bed. Honestly nothing too crazy happened.

Tuesday 8/27- Today was an awesome day, very interesting with fires and moving service projects. But let's just go into the details of this interesting day. So we started out the day by packing. I wanted to get as much packed as possible in the morning so I didn't have to think about it more. We then went to a service project and moved some furniture for a dude, we then went home and changed, then we went knocking doors, and said some final goodbyes. We then went to chipotle for dinner, and on the way there I was sitting at a light at an intersection. And a guy in a Prius came up to me while I was in the left turn lane. He rolled down his window and in broken English (I think he was Russian) told me that I couldn't use the left turn lane on my bike. And without even thinking, I said “Sir I absolutely can use this lane.” he responded with “NO! You can't use this lane!” and then I said “ Sir, I have lived in the USA longer than you and I know what I can and can't do.” He just rolled up his window and then didnt wanna talk. I will admit, not my proudest moment, but hey don't tell me what I can not do in AMERICA when you haven't lived here for longer than 19 years. Anyway, we got to Chipotle and guess who was inside, the Prius driver. Ya kind of awkward, but that's okay. We then went to the Watts house and had a bonfire with the young men. It was a blast and a great way to end my time in the Roseville 8th ward.

Wednesday 8/28- Transfer Day!!! We woke up and I finished packing, we then went to the Dollar store for some snacks and drinks. We also had to go to the UPS store so Elder Macgregor could send a box home. We then went to the Cavitt Stallman Building for transfers, I talked to alot of my friends. Its fun to be this far in and to look back and see all the people I have met. I then met up with Elder Kahaialii (KAH-HI-A-LI-I), its Hawaian. We then recorded some music for some missionaries that were there. We then took pictures of all the new missionaries. We then took a bunch of missionaries home, then we went to dinner at the Knapp family. They are super awesome and they made some delicious Chicken Pot Pie. we then came home and I unpacked and started learning to do social media stuff. Yall social media is fun, its alot of video/editing stuff. But we get to do missionary work as well as travel the mission.

Thursday 8/29- We woke up, got ready for the day. We then did studies and went to the church for a meeting with the zone. It was a blast to be with the Zone and see everyone who is in the zone. Fun fact- there are 36 missionaries in the zone which is huge. We then came back and edited videos for 2.5 hours. I started building a reel for the Follow Christ page on Facebook, it actually comes out today so take a look at it. Editing videos is so much fun because you get to create things and have fun while doing it. We then went knocking doors and nobody wanted to chat. But thats okay, because we had dinner with the walkers and they had a Bernedoodle dog and it was super cute. We then came home and I finished editing the videos I started today. We then went to the Gym and got them gaines. We then came home and went to bed.

Friday 8/30- We woke up and did our normal morning routine. We then did our studies, then we went to the church so Elder Kahaialii could record a song he's doing. We then went to lunch at a place called Ki-Ki,it's a chicken place that everyone hypes up. And honestly it was okay I will admit, it's over rated for what it is. It's also kind of expensive. But anywho we went back to the church and planned out our week, and since we share the area with another companionship we plan our week with them. So we planned our week, which consists of a trip to Yuba city, and a lot of video shoots and editing videos. We then came home and did some more editing, then we had dinner that members dropped off. We went and visited a few people, then did more social media work. Then we went to the gym and hit Gaines, we then went home and went to bed because we have a very crazy day tomorrow.

Saturday 8/31- So we got up and got ready then we left and drove up to Yuba City (an hour away) for a video, for a company called SAY LOVE! SAY LOVE is a non profit organization that uses volunteers to help clean up garbage, or do yard work around Yuba city. So we went there to shoot a video our mission asked us to do. It was fun to see missionaries I knew, I also got to take pictures and swing the camera a little bit. We then went to a really good Mexican place for lunch 10/10!!!! We then came home, and did our studies. After our studies we did some more editing of videos. We then biked to dinner, and we took a bike path to get there. And on this path were some homeless people. And I'm pretty sure a lady was not that far off the path taking a dump. (Sorry! Just wanted to add that fine detail). But anyway, I guess if you really have to go you have to go. But anywho, went and met the Ward Mission leader for the first ward. We then went to our dinner and some amazing Papa Murphy's Pizza. We then biked home, then we went to the Rocklin stake center to have a meeting with the Social Media sisters. We then came home and I got caught up on writing this email.

Sunday 9/1- Well today was an awesome first day of September. We woke up and went to church, and we double cover wards so we go to church for like 6 hours with all the meetings we attend. I got up and introduced myself in both wards, and at the end of chruch of the 9th ward. A lday came up and asked if I knew Bennetts in Holden Utah. And of course I do, because that's where my family all lives. So it was fun to chat with her since that's where she is from. So super cool experience, we then came home and did an hour of video editing. Then we went to a member's house, so Elder Kahaialii could try on some clothes. We then came home then we went to dinner at a member's house. We learned a super cool game with dice. We then went to a lesson, and the lady wasn't home. So we came back and did the Mission Wide Miracle call. I then wrote this email entry then went to bed.

Well, that's the week for you. Just lots of editing and that's what alot of these emails are gonna have in them. I hope you have an awesome week and I love you ans so does God. Anyway see ya later, and full send!!!!
